Austin Vitello Receives Inaugural GBFOM $1000 Scholarship at Clarence’s Awards Night on June 2, 2025
The GBFOM Scholarship Committee was thrilled to go through the process of naming our first $1000 scholarship recipient. There were 10 contestants from several area high schools who applied, all with high recommendations from their music teachers, and all were talented in their chosen instrument or voice. We held auditions for eight, and although it was a difficult the decision, we decided to award Austin Vitello from Clarence High School. Austin has been playing bassoon for nine years. His resumé and audition were outstanding!
Shown in the picture is Austin receiving his award from Patricia Hills and Priscilla Wiedl at the Clarence’s Awards night on June 2, 2025.
